This year's Freestyle Session looked like it was on the track to recovering its legacy. After the much debated FSS 10, when Gambler's crew lost a very controversial final battle to Zulu Kings, things seemed to be going downhill for the competition. This year, Korea's Jinjo crew was able to show everyone up, beating Renegades in the finals, and restoring some confidence in fans that things might be getting better afterall, especially with the judging.

In recent street art news, a mural done by Os Gemeos on the Earl of Glasgow's Kelburn Castle, has re-emerged as a point of controversy. The mural was originally meant to be up for three years, after being created and surrounded by controversy on whether it should even happen. Since its creation, it has attracted attention from around the world, and been loved by almost all that see it. Since the three years of "allowed" existence by Historic Scotland is almost up, Patrick Boyle, the Earl of Glasgow, has requested that he be allowed to keep it, further angering the opponents of the project.
