BC One took place in Paris this year, and once again they've done a good job of finding some of the best b-boys around the world. Kid David was one of the reps from the United States, and although he gets eliminated in the first round, he does an amazing job flexing his style:

Last month, Common released a new album by the name of "Universal Mind Control." For Common fans, this album definitely represented something new in the likes of Common, but we would have to say he did a great job of putting together new concepts. Check out his music video and a full review by allhiphop.comWhile this record is decidedly not another attempt at the critically panned Electric Circus, it is a more expansive take on Common than you're probably used to. Hollywood is paying Common_s bills quite nicely these days, freeing him to truly make music for the love. With his musical career experiencing a second Renaissance and Hip-Hop opening up to a more broad take on the art, it_s perfect time for him to branch out, and he takes full advantage. Don_t let Universal Mind Control slip by in the sure to be crowded December schedule.
